About the Role

As a Center Director, you’ll lead the daily operations of one of our childcare centers while creating a warm, safe, and high-quality experience for every child, family, and team member. You’ll guide and support your staff, maintain operational excellence, and help foster a culture built on trust, teamwork, and joy.

Working closely with a District Manager or Director of Operations, you’ll help bring our mission to life each day: doing the most good for the most kids while supporting the working families who count on us.

What You’ll Do

As Center Director, you’ll oversee the day-to-day success of the center, including:

• Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and developing exceptional educators and staff
• Coaching and mentoring team members to support growth and performance
• Managing daily center operations, including staffing, classroom quality, safety, and family engagement
• Building strong relationships with children, families, and the community
• Ensuring compliance with all state licensing and regulatory requirements
• Overseeing administrative and business functions such as enrollment, marketing, and budgeting
• Creating a positive, collaborative, and mission-driven team culture

What We’re Looking For

• Meets Bureau of Child Care Licensing requirements (Degree, CDA, NAC, or equivalent)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable with empathy
• Professional, emotionally mature, and calm under pressure
• Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Passionate about early childhood education and supporting children and families
• Organized, dependable, and committed to operational excellence
