Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Daycare Substitute to join our early learn group family Daycare. Your enthusiasm and flexibility will ensure that children continue to thrive, learn, and feel secure during their day. Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to safety protocols
• Follow daily schedules and lesson plans provided by the lead teacher or director
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day, progress, or any concerns.
• Assist with classroom management to foster a respectful and inclusive environment
• Implement health and safety procedures, including first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary
• Support classroom routines such as snack time, nap time, diapering, and transitions between activities
• Clean and sanitize toys and daycare area.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare settings is highly preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and child supervision best practices
• Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid, is desirable
• Previous nannying or babysitting experience with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers demonstrates relevant skills

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
