Daycare Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to work effectively with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Engage in daily activities that encourage physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting positive interactions among students.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support each child's individual needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom to ensure a healthy learning environment.
• Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, including diapering and feeding.

Skills

• First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children.
• Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong background in preschool education or childhood development principles.
• Proven experience working with children in daycare settings or similar environments.
• Knowledge of effective classroom management techniques.
• Familiarity with toddler care practices, including infant care when necessary.
• Ability to engage students through creative teaching methods and activities.
• Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
