Daycare Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of children from infancy through preschool age. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and collaborating with parents to support each child's individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
• Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate findings to parents or guardians.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom to ensure a healthy learning environment.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall daycare experience for children.
• Stay current on best practices in early childhood education, including first aid and special education strategies.

Experience

• Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is essential.
• Background in early childhood education or related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices is highly desirable.
• Experience in classroom management, behavior management, and caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
• Knowledge of special education practices is a plus, particularly when working with students who have disabilities.
