Daycare Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Duties

• Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Foster a positive learning environment by using effective classroom management techniques.
• Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language acquisition, and motor skills.
• Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the daycare setting through vigilant supervision and adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques to address various challenges in the classroom.
• First aid certification is highly desirable.
• Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to create a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and learning among young children.
