Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities, ensuring their safety at all times
• Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and emotional growth
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and creativity
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children’s progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Assist with classroom management by coordinating routines and transitions smoothly
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
• Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism
• Experience with toddler care, infant care, or preschool teaching highly desirable
• A genuine passion for nurturing children’s growth and fostering a positive learning atmosphere

Pay: $10.00 - $17.00 per hour
