Job Description:
Bright Stars Early Development Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children while supporting their developmental growth and fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and play-based activities
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
• Observe and document children’s development, behaviors, and milestones
• Assist with diapering, feeding, and daily care routines following health and safety guidelines
• Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and emotional development
• Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with staff
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting
• Knowledge of early childhood development and classroom management
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, dependable, and caring personality
• Experience working with children with special needs is a plus
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday
