In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging activities, ensuring safety, and supporting the developmental needs of children across various age groups. <Duties>

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages children’s independence and self-expression.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behavior, and daily routines to support individualized care plans.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's development, milestones, and any concerns.
  • Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to create an inviting learning space.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols.

<Qualifications>

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavioral challenges effectively.
  • Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers with patience and compassion.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
