Daycare Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning atmosphere for children. This role involves fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and play. The Daycare Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive experience for all.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children.
• Supervise and interact with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and first aid protocols.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.

Requirements

• Experience working with students in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
• First aid certification is a plus.
• Skills in classroom management to maintain an organized learning space.
• Experience in babysitting or nannying can be beneficial.
• Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage.
• Ability to provide toddler care with patience and understanding.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children and parents alike.
