Daycare Teacher- Floater Position

Part-Time Floater (Infants–Toddlers)

Open Availability Required Between 7:15am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday

LifeHope Childcare (located on the campus of Northland Church in Longwood) is looking for a dependable, energetic teacher to join our faith-based, child-centered team. This role supports our infant and toddler classrooms — so if you love baby snuggles, toddler giggles, and a little organized chaos, you may have just found your people.

Schedule:

This is a part-time position requiring open availability Monday–Friday between 7:15am and 6:00pm. Hours will vary within that window based on classroom needs. Your hours will vary, as it is not a set shift and is not compatible with limited weekday availability. You’ll typically work between 25-29 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting infant and toddler classrooms as needed throughout the day, Creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel secure and loved. Assisting with feeding, diapering, playtime, and age-appropriate learning activities. Jumping in where needed — because teamwork is how we thrive. Communicating kindly and professionally with coworkers and families.

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine love for young children (infant cuddles + toddler energy required). Flexibility and a team-player mindset. Reliability — when you’re scheduled, we count on you. 45 DCF hours required, CPR/First Aid preferred. A positive attitude and the ability to stay calm when things get loud.
