Daycare Teacher (Infant, Toddler, and Preschool)

ABC Creativity Center is searching for a patient, kind, caring, and reliable teacher to join our team of fun and creative teachers. Applicants must enjoy working with children (6 weeks-5 years) and have an upbeat and positive personality. Employees rotate between the infant/toddler room and the preschool room so that teachers can gain experience and enjoy working with a wide range of ages. Experience is a plus but we will train the right individuals! You must have or be willing to obtain a Boise City Childcare license. There are both part time and full time positions available.

Benefits include attendance and Christmas bonuses, reimbursement for half of the initial CPR/First aid and childcare license fees as well as full reimbursement for the yearly renewal of the childcare license. We also have a retirement plan available for our teachers.

Daily tasks involved in this job are as follows:

• Supervising children during all activities and creating a safe play environment
• Entertaining, engaging, challenging, and playing with the children
• Assist in creating/implementing daily crafts and projects
• Snack and lunch service
• Preparing bottles
• Cleaning of the classrooms
• Diapering duties

What we really NEED:

• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to obtain a Boise City childcare license
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
• Able to lift ~50 lbs
• Personable and positive attitude
• Reliable
• Punctual

What we would like:

• High School/GED certificate
• Previous experience with young children
• Previous experience with early child education
