Nail Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nail care and esthetic treatments, providing exceptional service to clients in a professional and welcoming environment. This role involves performing a variety of nail services, maintaining high standards of sanitation, and contributing to the overall client experience. Candidates with skills in color theory, esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, and body waxing are highly encouraged to apply. Duties

• Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art
• Provide additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments as applicable
• Educate clients on nail health, proper maintenance, and available beauty options
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
• Upsell retail products related to nail care and other beauty services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
• Assist with retail sales by recommending products suited to individual client needs
• Stay current with the latest trends in nail art, color theory, and beauty techniques
• Ensure a welcoming environment by demonstrating excellent communication skills and professionalism during all client interactions

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards in personal care services
• Experience with various nail techniques including gel application, acrylics, and nail art design
• Skills in hair extensions, hair styling, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, and body waxing are a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products effectively
• Familiarity with color theory to create appealing nail designs
• Experience or interest in additional beauty services such as esthetic laser treatments or barbering is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance are required for success in this role

Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
