Daycare Teachers - Summer Program and Infant/Toddlers

Little Treehouse Early Learning Center #6 is seeking Early Childhood Education Teachers for our children. This will be primarily for our After-Schoolers and Toddlers. These positions are Mon - Fri 12noon-6PM and Mon - Fri 8AM - 5:30PM. During our Summer Program the ASP position becomes 8am - 5:30pm. As a Summer Program teacher you will be part of a very popular, fun and engaging program which includes field trips and other exciting activities.

Little Treehouse Early Learning Center #2 is seeking Early Childhood Education Teachers for our children. This will be primarily for our Infants and/or Toddlers. This position is Mon - Fri 8AM-5:30PM. Be a part of the children's earliest learning experiences. Help them to experience the joy of learning and help ensure their educational success!

The ideal candidate will meet the following:

Texas Rising Star experience preferred

Provide an active role model by leading and participating in moderate to vigorous physical activities with and for the children

Love children and have a desire to make a difference every day.

Maintain a professional, caring, and friendly attitude.

Be an outstanding communicator with rapport-building skills.

Possess a valid Texas drivers license and be able to operate our vehicles, a full size van and/or a minivan.

Minimum of two years experience working with children is preferred.

Have a desire to work in a drama-free environment.

Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus.

General Responsibilities

  • Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
  • Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
  • Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
  • Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)
  • Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
  • Track children’s progress and report to parents
  • Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Salary DOE

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.50 - $12.00 per hour
