In this position, you will provide comprehensive inpatient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of assigned patients. The role emphasizes a team-based model, with opportunities to support care coordination, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories, physical exams, and medical record review
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Write and manage medical orders, including medications and diagnostics
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in clinical status to the care team
• Coordinate care across settings, including admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
• Interpret diagnostic and laboratory results and adjust management plans accordingly
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Participate in rapid response/emergent situations as needed
• Support team workflow, patient throughput, and overall care delivery
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
• Board certified and licensed in the state of Maryland (or eligible)
• Prior inpatient or hospital medicine experience preferred

This position has a hiring range of : USD $115,000.00 - USD $143,619.00 /Yr.
