DB Engineer

To design, implement, maintain, and optimize database systems that support enterprise applications and business operations. The Database Engineer will ensure high availability, security, scalability, and performance of database environments across the organization.

“Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3–5 years of experience in database engineering or administration.

Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.) is a plus.

Solid understanding of database design, normalization, indexing, and partitioning.

Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL).

Experience in backup/recovery tools and disaster recovery planning.

Knowledge of database security best practices.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator, AWS Database Specialty) are preferred.”
