DBA Engineer II

Overview:

As a Hybrid DBA Engineer II, you will report to the Sr. MANAGER. With strong expertise in
cloud-native databases, AI-driven automation, and enterprise DR operations. This role
supports mission-critical systems across MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, while driving
modernization, cloud adoption, and reliability engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize databases across Linux-based MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
Lead AWS & GCP database operations (RDS, Aurora, Cloud SQL).
Execute on-prem to cloud migrations using AWS DMS, native cloud tools, automation.
Implement IaC using Terraform, Ansible, and drive automation of RUN activities.
Design and maintain DR architectures ensuring RTO/RPO compliance.
Improve performance using CloudWatch, OEM, SolarWinds DPA, and cloud-native
monitors.
Integrate AI/LLM/RAG-based tools (LangSmith, vector search workflows) into
database operations.
Support backup/restore, replication, version upgrades, and operational excellence.
Provide advanced troubleshooting in collaboration with Engineering & Architecture
teams.
Participate in on-call rotation and support database integration during acquisitions.

Qualifications:
