DC Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Center (DC) Leader to oversee the operations, maintenance, and performance of our data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and efficiency of IT systems while leading a technical operations team and supporting business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day data center operations and infrastructure support.
• Ensure high availability, uptime, and reliability of servers, storage, and network systems.
• Monitor and maintain power, cooling, and environmental systems within the data center.
• Oversee incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution of infrastructure issues.
• Implement and maintain data center security policies and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with IT, network, and systems teams for infrastructure planning and upgrades.
• Manage disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning and testing.
• Supervise data center technicians and support staff, providing guidance and training.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and operational best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external service providers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data center operations or infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Server and storage systems
• Networking fundamentals
• Data center power and cooling systems
• ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management)
• Experience in monitoring tools and infrastructure management systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and team management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL certification is preferred.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.
• Experience in large enterprise or mission-critical environments.
