About the role
You will be working in an enthusiastic DCS Automation & Commissioning team with more than 80 colleagues in Denmark. Globally, the team has more than 200 employees.
The DCS Automation & Commissioning team works with consultancy, design & development, implementation, Commissioning, Qualification & Validation of Automation solutions for the Pharma and Biotech industries. Our work is project based, and currently we are looking into an exciting pipeline of large data driven, greenfield plants with modular/scalable designs.
We are skilled in a broad range of process areas within API production e.g. fermentation, recovery and purification, utility, and cleaning systems. And the solutions we provide to our customers are always based on a deep understanding of the customers’ production processes – and if standard components can’t do the job, we develop our own.

How you might spend your days
As a DCS Commissioning Professional, you’ll be working in a team with both Commissioning Professionals and DCS Engineers daily where you’ll be:
- Preparing test documentation and references.

Performing both Wet test, Site Acceptance Test and A-Z test.

Interacting with other Commissioning Professionals as well as collaboration with DCS Automation Engineers in your Team.

What you bring to the role
In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:

You have 3-5 years or more of work experience and hold a degree as an engineer or adequate education or work experience, within the area of Batch based production. Ideally in Pharma or equivalent production environment.

Hands-on experience in operating physical equipment in production plants.

You have 2-3 years or more of working experience with commissioning and testing process units controlled by DCS (ABB 800xA or ABB SattLine are preferred but not required), working in GMP/GAMP5 environment.

Knowledge of batch production is key.

Able to observe, understand and describe technical non-conformities.

Take pride in documenting thoroughly as you know this is key in pharmaceutical industry
