DCS Engineer

Technical Skills:
 Experience with digital solutions in process automation, such as SCADA, PLC, and
industrial communication protocols like Modbus, OPC UA
 Knowledge on the programming languages (Functional Block, Structure Text) for DCS
configuration and control.
 Configuration, Runtime and diagnostic of the Eco Structure Foxboro DCS
 Configuration of AVEVA System Platform & HMI
 Strong understanding of system interactions and integration testing methodologies.
 Knowledge on security Testing
 Experience with debugging tools and troubleshooting techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
 Design and execute effective test cases, scripts, and environments for thorough
integration testing of DCS systems.
 Identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues and defects to ensure system reliability.
 Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and other testers to ensure clear
understanding and efficient communication.
 Automate test cases to improve efficiency and repeatability.
 Work with various testing tools and debugging frameworks to validate system
performance.
 Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in process automation
and system integration.

Required Industry Experience:



Strong understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), including architecture,
functionality, and applications in industries like oil and gas, chemical, and power.
 Familiarity with process automation principles, including control loops, instrumentation,
and automation strategies.
 Hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of DCS
systems.
 Knowledge of Schneider Electric's product portfolio, particularly Foxboro DCS and
EcoStruxure Automation Expert, is a plus.
