Compensation: Commission based up to $175,000 annually.

National Truck Protection Co Inc. is revolutionizing the Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) industry for commercial vehicles with the two largest and oldest commercial truck VSC brands in North America: National Truck Protection® (NTP) and Premium 2000+®. Both brands offer coverage for Class 2 – 8 commercial vehicles sold through used truck dealership locations throughout the US and Canada, including Franchise, independent, and rental truck dealerships; finance companies; and insurance agencies.
Position Overview:
The Dealer Performance Specialist is responsible for supporting the sales process and performance for a geographic region covered by a Dealer Performance Director. The successful candidate will directly engage existing NTP and Premium 2000 dealership clients through relationships established by Dealer Performance Directors. He/she will interact directly with relevant Leadership, Sales, Financial & Insurance “F&I” departments and related dealership management. A successful candidate will play a supporting role in developing and training automotive finance managers, including training them on selling finance products through a menu process in the finance department using a consultative approach. What You'll Do:
Sales & Business Development

Responsible for supporting sales of Vehicle Service Contract programs for class 2 – 8 used trucks to truck resellers, fleets, fleet owner-operator programs, and finance companies.

Understand product positioning and value proposition, market size opportunities, and competitor actions with the prospecting area.

Execute tactical sales plans established by a Dealer Performance Director to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.

Conduct sales calls and networking to build a robust sales pipeline.

Document sales pipeline Leads and Opportunities in Salesforce.

Present and demonstrate the benefits of our truck protection services to dealer partners and potential customers, effectively addressing their needs and concerns.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow-ups.

Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
What We’re Looking For:

Proven track record in sales, preferably in the trucking industry or automotive.

Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Sales (B2B or B2C).

Knowledge of, or direct experience with Salesforce.

Ability to work independently and meet reporting and KPI goals.

Knowledge of the extended contract service market and service center process.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence dealers & customers.
