Our Deals Strategy & Operations (DSO) team offers strategic advice to a broad range of stakeholders - regional and international corporates, leading private equity houses, family offices, major banks, funds, government entities, and companies undertaking mergers and acquisitions or investment opportunities. We deliver deep strategic, commercial and operational insights to help clients think through investment/divestment decisions about businesses. We advise our clients on critical operational and transformational challenges, and evaluate business plans and company strategies against market performance and competitor strength, to deliver a rigorous appraisal of a business’ commercial and operational outlook. Our main focus is to deliver top strategy-led solutions to our clients.

Role Responsibilities

As a Deals Strategy & Operations Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Solve complex client problems by structuring analysis, applying strategic frameworks, and synthesizing insights
  • Conduct commercial due diligence, market entry strategies, feasibility studies, and portfolio development initiatives
  • Take ownership of workstream components and collaborate closely with team members to deliver well-structured, insight-driven deliverables
  • Research, aggregate, and analyze data to provide actionable recommendations
  • Contribute to the development of business plans and strategic roadmaps for clients
  • Participate in internal business development activities, including proposal support and opportunity pipeline development
  • Actively support Managers and Senior Managers on engagements across key industry verticals

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant consulting or professional services experience, ideally supporting M&A transactions ( e.g. commercial due diligence, market assessments, feasibility studies, market research)
  • Exposure to Healthcare, Energy, Utilities, Sustainability , Transportation & Logistic, Industrials, Manufacturing or Financial Services sectors is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L required ; experience with 3-statement models a plus)
  • Proven experience with PowerPoint and Excel , including building market models and conducting quantitative analysis
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities (to be assessed through interviews and case studies)
  • Experience conducting strategic research, supporting acquisitions, and developing business plans
  • Confident communicator with ability to engage senior clients and stakeholders
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow in a high-performance team environment
  • Comfortable navigating multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with digital and technology-enabled solutions to enhance delivery
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel 40%–60% based on client needs, with flexibility to support cross-border engagements
