Director – Debt Capital Markets (DCM)

Overview

We are working with a leading Investment Banking platform in Oman that is looking to hire a Director within Debt Capital Markets (DCM) . This is a high-impact role within a growing platform, offering exposure to cross-border transactions across CIS, Asia, Europe, the US, and Africa .

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in originating and executing bond and sukuk transactions , while working closely with sovereigns, financial institutions, and corporates across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of DCM transactions, including bond and sukuk issuances
• Act as the primary deal lead , driving momentum across live mandates and ensuring timely delivery
• Chair weekly deal update calls , managing all stakeholders across internal and external parties
• Take ownership of transaction documentation, including Information Memorandums, term sheets, and investor materials (“holding the pen”)
• Manage client relationships , providing strategic advice on capital structure, market timing, and execution strategy

Research & Market Intelligence

Treasury & Transaction Banking

• Support origination efforts across key sectors including energy, infrastructure, technology, and financial institutions
• Drive cross-border deal execution across emerging and developed markets

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in Debt Capital Markets execution , with a strong track record delivering bond and sukuk transactions
• Demonstrated ability to run transactions independently from origination through to closing
• Highly technically strong , with deep understanding of DCM structures, documentation, and market dynamics
• Strong experience in managing deal processes , timelines, and multi-party coordination
• Confident in client-facing situations , able to lead discussions and provide strategic input
• Experience drafting and owning transaction materials ( IMs, term sheets, investor presentations )
• Exposure to international markets (CIS, Asia, Europe, US, Africa) is highly advantageous
• Language skills: Arabic and/or Russian highly preferred
• Background from a top-tier investment bank or leading regional platform
