Debt Collector/Legal Representative

Alabama based law firm seeks legal debt collectors with 3rd party debt collection experience.. We prefer Applicants have 1+ years EXPERIENCE with commercial, medical, small business or banking collections. Most of the work would be commercial collections. Legal experience is preferred, military/bi-lingual a plus. The Firm offers full time employment with paid vacation. Responsibilities

• Contact overdue accounts via phone, email, or written correspondence using professional phone etiquette to negotiate repayment plans and settle debts.
• Analyze account histories, perform account reconciliation, and conduct account analysis to determine the most effective collection approach.
• Collaborate with legal teams to prepare documentation for collections that require legal action; serve as a legal representative when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of all collection activities within financial software and accounting software systems, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Utilize negotiation skills to resolve disputes amicably while adhering to company policies and legal standards.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
