The Debt Restructuring Senior Manager will be responsible for managing distressed corporate credit facilities and debt portfolios. The role involves assessing and restructuring non-performing or high-risk exposures to minimize losses, recover value, and support viable borrowers through financial difficulties. The position requires strong credit analysis, negotiation skills, and knowledge of banking regulations and insolvency frameworks.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the restructuring of non performing exposures (NPLs) and high risk corporate debt exposures.
• Evaluate clients' financials, cash projections, and collateral to determine workout feasibility.
• Develop and implement restructuring strategies (amendments, forbearance, refinancing, or enforcement).
• Conduct in depth credit risk assessments, including stress testing and recovery rate analysis.
• Review financial statements, covenant compliance, and borrower liquidity positions.
• Negotiate with corporate clients, sponsors, and other creditors to agree on restructuring terms.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Risk, Treasury) and external advisors (law firms, consultants).
• Structure and execute debt rescheduling proposals.
• Oversee legal documentation (amendment agreements, intercreditor arrangements).
• Monitor post restructuring performance and ensure compliance with revised terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or a relevant major.
• CFA, CPA or a relevant certificate are preferred.
• Around 8 years of experience with a preference for 3 years in a relevant role.
• Prior experience in debt restructuring, credit risk management or a relevant field.
• Familiarity with credit risk systems (e.g., Credit Lens and internal bank models).
