Decorator

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Decorator cuts and applies vinyl to plastic sheets. This position prepares materials using knives and other cutting tools and applies vinyl to plastic surfaces while ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished product.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Accurately interpret work orders and job details to determine proper placement and cutting of vinyl.

Prepare materials for the application of vinyl, using knives and other cutting tools as required.

Apply vinyl to plastic sheets in accordance with production standards and company safety policies.

Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, quality, and that no damage is present.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to visually cut, apply, and inspect vinyl and other materials to ensure quality standards are met.

Ability to properly prepare materials for vinyl application.

Ability to accurately measure materials using rulers, tape measure, and other measuring tools.

Ability to safely use extractor knives, and other cutting tools.

Ability to read and interpret work orders and related documents for vinyl preparation and application.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Experience working with vinyl, plastic materials, or similar products is helpful.

Experience using hand tools, cutting tools, or measuring tools preferred.
