Defect Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with testers, developers, and product owners.
• Manage defect tickets by prioritizing and planning defect resolutions.
• Ensure defects are properly logged, assigned, tracked, and closed.
• Generate reports and metrics such as open defects, defect density, and aging.
• Utilize and manage defect tracking tools such as JIRA and KPM.
• Analyze communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Use JQL to automate defect tracking processes and workflows.

Required Skill Set:

• Strong understanding of defect lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools, especially JIRA and KPM.
• Skilled in designing Confluence pages integrated with dynamic dashboards.
• Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and eazyBI.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Experience with automation of defect tracking processes using JQL.
