Deli/Dairy Retail Merchandiser – Ft. Lauderdale

Position Summary: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser for the Broward County Florida market. This role involves daily travel to major grocery store. The primary role is to represent Manzo Food Brokers and our principals, while enhancing the customer’s retail experience through the development and daily management of Deli and Dairy sections. Implement plan-o-grams, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity.

***Grocery Experience - Either sales/merchandising or working in a supermarket (preferably Publix or Winn-Dixie).***

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandising Excellence: Stock, arrange, and rotate products to ensure optimal visibility and compliance with planograms. Strive for new item placement, secondary placements, and void corrections.
• Retail Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to maximize shelf space and promotional opportunities.
• Promotional Execution: Implement marketing and promotional activities, including signage placement, special displays, and endcaps.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, report out-of-stock items, and ensure proper stock replenishment.
• Reporting & Insights: Provide feedback on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activity during store visits to improve sales success.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Must have previous experience in sales merchandising or supermarket grocery retail, or the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
• Tech-savvy. Proficient in using smartphones, tablets, & basic software applications. Personal device for business use may apply.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, & stand for extended periods
• Willingness and ability to work in cold environmental conditions (e.g., refrigerated sections of retail stores).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required for traveling between store locations).
• Must be fluent in English & Spanish
