Delivery Assistant

Job Summary & Purpose
The SunPro Delivery Assistant works alongside local Florida Delivery Drivers to support safe, efficient, and customer-focused delivery operations. Delivery Assistants help load, transport, and unload SunPro products—including large or heavy items—and ensure deliveries are accurate and handled with professionalism. This role is customer-facing, requiring a friendly and competent demeanor, strong product awareness, and the ability to represent SunPro as a brand ambassador. Local Florida routes depart from and return to the Bradenton facility on the same day.
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Delivery Driver with safe transport of SunPro motorized screens, awnings, and related materials.
Represent SunPro professionally and courteously during all dealer interactions.
Support unloading of products at dealer locations, including large or heavy items.
Assist with communication to the logistics team regarding delivery status, issues, or confirmations.
Experience & Educational Requirements
Experience in delivery, warehouse, or customer-facing roles preferred.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Friendly, professional, and customer-service–oriented demeanor.
Basic product knowledge or willingness to learn SunPro products.
Strong time-management skills and ability to support efficient route operations.
Ability to work as part of a small team and follow direction from the Delivery Driver and logistics staff.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, load, and unload large items weighing 50–100+ lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, and move materials throughout the delivery process.
Comfortable riding in delivery vehicles for same-day Florida routes.
Work Setting
Regional and statewide travel required
Pay Range
Upto $25/hr depending on experience.
