Delivery Dispatcher Manager

Dispatcher Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Schedule and dispatch delivery drivers
• Pull invoiced items and assure accuracy of itemized invoices
• Track vehicle locations and route progress using dispatch software
• Communicate job details and updates to field staff and clients
• Respond to client calls and adjust driver route schedules as needed
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, and fuel receipt's
• Monitor delivery drivers' lunches and breaks
• Ensure compliance with safety and transportation regulations
• Resolve customer issues or delays in a timely manner
• Prepare daily dispatch logs and reports

Dispatcher Qualifications and Skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations
• Basic computer skills and experience with dispatch software
• Attention to detail and time management
• Problem-solving mindset and teamwork abilities
