SUMMARY: Coordinates customer delivery schedules by optimizing deliveries to customer base through efficient and timely delivery schedule(s). Performs the following duties personally and in conjunction with other members of PGO team.
WORK HOURS

Normal work schedule is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break. Occasionally, during our busy season, additional hours may be required to meet our business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for efficient communication, harmonious interaction, and support of co-workers and management team members.
• Prepares daily delivery schedules and tickets for delivery personnel.
• Utilizes all technology related to the distribution chain (Android and Ignite).
• Reviews delivery schedules for new accounts. Reviews projection reports and changes schedule/forecast type to achieve optimal deliveries.
• Prepares reports as needed on a daily or weekly basis.
• Communicates with customers by phone or in person and adjusts delivery schedules/forecast types as needed or requested.
• Contacts customers to discuss usage changes and how to best accommodate them.
• Maintains delivery schedules for scheduled and automatic customers. Accommodates will-call customers based on company guidelines.
• Tracks and performs follow-up phone calls or writes letters for deliveries made to run out customers. Apologizes for any run outs that occur (in which we are at fault) and sends a follow up letter.
• Responsible for recommending increase/decrease storage where needed.
• Reviews log notes in a timely manner.
• Performs other tasks assigned by manager to provide general support to company operations.
• Assists in performing tasks of other personnel within the department as needed.
• Always maintains and promotes company brand guidelines and core values (Friendly, Simple, Safe).

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• ·A minimum of one year working in the delivery department is required unless otherwise determined by the delivery manager.
• Strong Analytical skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and social skills to build a good rapport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
