Duties

• Safely operate box trucks to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of packages or equipment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving and customer service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required.
• Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including loading, unloading, and inventory management.
• Ability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform physical tasks such as moving goods using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, driving, and vehicle maintenance.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
