Responsibilities

• Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver products efficiently.
• Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring items are handled with care and precision.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes, maintaining punctuality and maximizing efficiency throughout the day.
• Interact professionally with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and adhere to all safety regulations during driving and loading activities.
• Support team efforts by helping with heavy lifting, manual handling, and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately.

Experience

• Previous delivery driver experience or courier background preferred, demonstrating familiarity with route driving and load management.
• Hands-on experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations including use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and moving equipment is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations.
• Ability to lift heavy loads regularly, perform physical tasks such as moving items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is highly desirable.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
