Delivery Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to customers. The ideal candidate should have a valid driver's license, a strong work ethic, and excellent time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery.
• Verify delivery information, including addresses and payment details if required.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signed confirmations.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any delivery-related inquiries.
• Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages if needed.
• Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple deliveries per day.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using GPS and route optimization apps.
• Familiarity with handling cash or electronic payment methods.
• Experience driving commercial or company vehicles.
