Key Responsibilities
- Appointment & Logistics Management: Contacting customers directly to confirm delivery details, coordinate arrival times, and address special requirements.
- Route Planning & Punctuality: Mapping out efficient daily routes using GPS to ensure strict adherence to scheduled delivery windows.
- Loading & Physical Handling: Carefully loading, securing, and unloading heavy furniture items to prevent damage during transit.
- On-Site Professionalism: Carrying products into customer homes or offices, often requiring manual lifting of up to 50 lbs (or more with equipment) and navigating stairs.
- Customer Communication: Using fluent English to explain product care, answer inquiries, resolve complaints, and obtain delivery signatures.
- Documentation & Maintenance: Keeping accurate delivery logs, managing invoices/payments, and performing daily vehicle safety inspections.
Essential Requirements
- Language: Proficiency in English for clear verbal and written communication with customers and management.
- Driving Credentials: A valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (often 50–90+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with route optimization apps, digital proof-of-delivery tools, and basic furniture assembly.
