Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver products across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload shipments efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of goods
• Manage route driving with precision, optimizing delivery schedules for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their delivery needs are met with care
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory checks, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining organized storage areas
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and communication with dispatchers to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving and manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to lift heavy loads regularly, perform physical tasks like moving and heavy lifting safely
• Prior experience operating box trucks or similar large vehicles is preferred
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, load & unload processes, and vehicle maintenance

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
