Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver products to various locations.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring items are transported safely and efficiently.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to maximize efficiency and punctuality.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing any concerns during deliveries.
• Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments, completing necessary documentation, and obtaining signatures when required.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving stock within the facility, or preparing shipments for delivery.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
• Proven delivery driver experience or courier background demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely (heavy lifting) and perform physical tasks involved in loading/unloading cargo.
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Comfortable navigating routes using GPS or mapping tools; route driving experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, moving goods, and operating warehouse equipment.
