Duties

• Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety protocols.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes, maintaining organizational skills to optimize time and resources.
• Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, ensuring safe handling of heavy or bulky items.
• Deliver products directly to customers’ locations while providing friendly and professional client communication.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and compliance records in accordance with company policies.
• Assist with merchandising at retail stores when required to support sales initiatives and product displays.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and automobile transportation.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, basic math skills for transactions, and sales techniques such as upselling.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers, clients, and team members effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and commercial truck driving standards to ensure compliance during all deliveries.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting relationships through professional interaction.
• Organizational skills necessary for route planning, time management, and efficient delivery execution.
• Experience in retail store merchandising or military logistics is a plus but not required.
