Delivery Driver (3-Ton Pickup)

Job Summary

• Position: HORECA Delivery Driver (3-Ton Pickup)
• Industry: Logistics / Food Service / FMCG
• License Requirement: Valid Manual Driving License (e.g., UAE Category 3/No. 3)
• Key Focus: Timely and safe delivery of goods to clients

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation: Safely drive a 3-ton pickup truck to various locations following assigned routes and schedules.
• Loading & Unloading: Handle the physical loading and unloading of goods (e.g., food containers, beverages) from the warehouse to the vehicle and to the client's premises.
• HoReCa Service: Deliver to hotels, restaurants, and cafes, ensuring accuracy in orders.
• Documentation: Ensure all deliveries are properly documented, including obtaining customer signatures on invoices and maintaining daily delivery logs.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily inspections (tires, oil, brakes) and keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Customer Service: Act as a brand ambassador, providing professional and courteous service, and addressing any immediate customer queries or complaints.
• Route Planning: Use GPS and navigation tools to find the most efficient routes to meet tight delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the UAE or for a HoReCa/FMCG company.
• License: Valid local manual driving license suitable for a 3-ton truck.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work in hot weather and lift, push, or carry heavy items throughout the day.
• Technical Skills: Good knowledge of local roads and experience with GPS/navigation systems.
• Language: Basic English communication skills; proficiency in Arabic or other local languages is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with temperature-controlled deliveries.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Clean driving record.

Working Conditions

• Work often involves early morning starts (e.g., 7:00 AM) and working during weekends or public holidays.
• Long hours of driving and physical labor are required.

Pay: From AED2,800.00 per month
