Delivery Man (Scooter Rider) – Food Products

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Delivery Man (Scooter Rider) to deliver packs of injera and other food products within the city of Dubai. The role involves short-distance deliveries, handling customer orders over the phone, and ensuring timely and safe delivery of food items.

The ideal candidate is familiar with Dubai locations, can communicate clearly with customers, and can manage deliveries independently.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery & Transportation

• Deliver injera and other food items using a scooter/motorbike within Dubai
• Ensure food items are handled carefully and delivered in good condition
• Plan efficient routes for short-distance deliveries to save time and fuel
• Follow all UAE traffic rules and safety regulations

Order Handling & Communication

• Receive customer orders via phone calls and messages
• Confirm order details such as quantity, location, and delivery time
• Communicate politely and clearly with customers during order and delivery
• Coordinate with the store or kitchen for order preparation and dispatch

Cash & Documentation

• Collect cash payments when required and return them accurately
• Maintain basic delivery records (orders, payments, locations)
• Report completed deliveries and any issues to management

Vehicle & Equipment Care

• Keep the scooter clean, functional, and well-maintained
• Report any mechanical issues immediately
• Use delivery bags or boxes properly to maintain food hygiene

Qualifications & RequirementsMandatory

• Valid UAE motorcycle (scooter) driving license
• Experience riding a scooter in Dubai
• Good knowledge of Dubai locations and routes
• Ability to handle phone orders and communicate clearly
• Honest, punctual, and responsible

Preferred

• Previous experience in food delivery
• Basic English communication skills (Amharic or other Ethiopian languages is an advantage)
• Familiarity with Google Maps or similar navigation apps
• UAE residency with legal work eligibility

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
