What would you do? The Associate Manager – Commercial & Supplier Operations is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational execution of cost price, product, promotion, and supplier management processes for the clothing retail business. The role acts as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring seamless delivery, strong governance, and continuous improvement across all supported processes Supply Chain involves managing the flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers. This role includes planning and coordinating production, transportation, and inventory management. It also involves ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and quality control. The goal is to optimize the entire supply chain process to meet customer demands and improve organizational efficiency. Architect master data solutions across platforms to consolidate content, synchronize data, provide centralized maintenance of unified data, enable rich product content management and print publishing as well as to synchronize global data ensuring consistency and control of master data elements.
What are we looking for? •Microsoft Excel •Written and verbal communication • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. • 8+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or a related field. • Proven experience with software (e.g., SAP, Oracle or other ERP systems). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in supply chain domain. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading transitions. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. •Supply Chain & Merchandising Strategy •Supply Chain Management (SCM) Applications
Roles and Responsibilities: Cost Price Management • Own and manage cost price setup and maintenance across systems, ensuring accuracy, approvals, and governance. • Manage cost changes, uplifts, and re-costing activities in line with commercial strategy. • Partner with Buying, Finance, and Supplier teams to resolve cost discrepancies and margin risks. • Ensure audit compliance and robust documentation for all cost-related activities. Product Data & Lifecycle Management • Oversee product setup, maintenance, and lifecycle management across buying, planning, and finance systems. • Ensure timely and accurate product creation, hierarchy maintenance, and attribute governance. • Support seasonal launches, range changes, and product exits. • Drive data quality standards and continuous improvement in product processes. Promotion & Pricing Operations • Manage operational execution of pricing and promotion processes, including setup, validation, and go-live support. • Ensure promotions are aligned to trade plans and commercial approvals. • Monitor promotion performance and resolve operational issues impacting stores and online channels. • Partner with Trading and Marketing teams to improve promotion effectiveness and execution. Supplier Management & Ordering Oversight • Oversee supplier onboarding, ordering, and operational governance for direct and non-direct suppliers. • Ensure PO accuracy, amendment governance, intake alignment, and supplier query resolution. • Manage escalations and risks related to supplier performance, compliance, and delivery. • Drive strong supplier relationships through clear communication and service standards. Client & Stakeholder Management • Act as the single point of contact (POC) for the client, ensuring clarity, alignment, and confidence in delivery. • Lead regular governance calls, performance reviews, and escalation management with the client. • Translate client strategy and priorities into clear operational plans for the team. • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement • Manage, coach, and develop analysts and senior analysts across supported processes. • Set clear goals, SLAs, and performance expectations. • Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and efficiency improvements. • Support transitions, process documentation, and change management initiatives.
