What would you do? The Global Web UX/UI Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and governing the global digital experience across D2C websites and platforms. This role is responsible for defining, designing, and optimizing user experiences that drive engagement, conversion, and brand consistency across markets. Operating at the intersection of design, technology, and operations, the role ensures a seamless and scalable design framework that supports the global eCommerce ecosystem. What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization? As the global design lead within Web Operations, the role ensures that all web experiences are built with a strong, consumer-centric design philosophy — grounded in UX best practices, performance insights, and technology enablement. By building and maintaining a global design system and ensuring consistent implementation across markets, this role directly impacts consumer experience, digital performance, and the effectiveness of brand expression in the eCommerce space. Quality Assurance & Release Management • Perform design QA pre- and post-launch, ensuring pixel-perfect execution, accessibility compliance, and performance readiness. • Oversee release validation for UI-related features and improvements. • Lead periodic QA audits to maintain ongoing design quality across platforms. Sprint Planning & Continuous Delivery • Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, ensuring UX/UI inputs are integrated into agile cycles. • Manage the UX design backlog, prioritizing enhancements and optimizations based on analytics and feedback. • Support Tech teams in bug fixing, design refinements, and rapid iteration.
What are we looking for? •Social Media CRM •Salesforce Marketing Cloud •Marketing Operations •Microsoft Excel •Adaptable and flexible •Ability to perform under pressure •Problem-solving skills •Detail orientation •Ability to establish strong client relationship Continuous Optimization & Governance • Maintain design system documentation and visual libraries for ongoing alignment. • Oversee routine maintenance and ad-hoc design updates driven by market or consumer insights. • Leverage analytics and behavior tools (e.g., Hotjar, GA, ContentSquare) to identify friction points and guide optimizationExperience Required • Experience in UX/UI, with exposure across both global frameworks and local execution. • Proven track record in digital product design, web/app experiences, and campaign execution. • Hands-on experience in design system creation, governance, and scaling across multiple brands or geographies. • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with design, tech, marketing, and data teams. • Prior involvement in user research, usability testing, and behavioral analytics programs. • Familiarity with GBS/shared service models or global matrix organizations. • Proven experience in building relationships and influencing senior stakeholders. • Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required • Mastery of design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Miro). • Deep knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and design system architecture. • Understanding of frontend development workflows (HTML, CSS, JS handoff, version control). • Proficiency in leveraging analytics, heatmaps, and user behavior tools to inform design. • Exceptional stakeholder management and storytelling skills, with the ability to advocate for design decisions clearly and persuasively. • Strong balance of creativity and scalability — capable of harmonizing global consistency with local market flexibility. • Experience in mentoring designers and driving capability building across markets. • Agility, curiosity, and resilience in navigating complex, fast-evolving digital ecosystems. ________________________________________ Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required • University degree, preferably in Design, Marketing, IT, Business Analysis, or a related digital discipline. • Certifications in UX/UI Design, Human-Centered Design, or Design Thinking are highly desirable.
Roles and Responsibilities: UX/UI Governance • Develop, evolve, and maintain, in collaboration with key internal and external partners, the global web UX/UI design system, ensuring consistency across platforms, brands, and markets. • Define UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design frameworks that guide teams. • Partner with Tech, Data, and Marketing to ensure design governance is embedded into product development and deployment cycles. • Translate business objectives and consumer insights into intuitive, high-performing digital experiences. Design Execution & Enablement • Lead end-to-end design of web journeys, components, templates, and interactive experiences across multiple markets. • Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specs, in collaboration with key internal and external partners, for both new builds and optimization projects. • Support global and regional teams in the adaptation and localization of design assets while preserving brand and UX consistency. • Drive innovation through A/B testing, behavioral insights, and iterative design improvements. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Act as the bridge between design, tech, and business, ensuring seamless collaboration and understanding across disciplines. • Partner with Web Ops, Product Owners, Developers for front-end feasibility, technical handoffs & QA. • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Data teams to align design decisions with conversion, retention, and engagement KPIs. • Mentor and enable regional designers & external agency partners to deliver in line with global standards. Process Flow & Collaboration Model The Global Web UX/UI Manager operates through a structured global design-to-deployment flow, integrating design excellence with agile delivery: Resource & Deployment Planning • Define UX/UI priorities aligned with the global Tech deployment roadmap and business milestones. • Manage UX/UI resources across regions, balancing creative design and delivery capacity. • Support strategic planning for launches, migrations, and feature enhancements. Development Alignment & Third-Party Integration • Collaborate with Tech and external vendors to align front-end development with UX/UI frameworks. • Provide design support for third-party integrations (e.g., analytics, personalization, payment systems). • Ensure all integrations maintain design and accessibility integrity.
