Corner Home Medical is seeking a dependable and customer‑focused Delivery Technician / Medical Equipment Driver to join our healthcare delivery team. This role is perfect for candidates who enjoy helping patients, working independently, and delivering durable medical equipment (DME) in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.
As a Delivery Technician, you will deliver, set up, and demonstrate medical equipment in patient homes and healthcare facilities, ensuring safe and proper use. You will also support warehouse tasks, complete documentation, and represent Corner Home Medical with professionalism and outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver medical equipment and supplies to patient homes, hospitals, and care facilities following daily route schedules.
Pick up equipment returns and ensure safe handling of all products.
Set up equipment, complete demonstrations, and educate patients/caregivers on proper and safe use.
Ensure equipment is functioning correctly and used safely.
Complete delivery documentation and obtain required patient signatures.
Collect COD payments when applicable.
Perform minor equipment repairs and routine preventative maintenance.
Communicate promptly with dispatch or customer service regarding route changes or issues.
Maintain company vehicle cleanliness, perform daily safety checks, and log mileage per DOT and company standards.
Participate in evening and weekend on‑call rotation as required.
Follow all safety rules for lifting, loading, and transporting heavy equipment.
Assist with warehouse duties, inventory tasks, and process improvement initiatives.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Continue learning product setup, repair, and usage information to support patient needs.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
One year of delivery driver experience preferred (medical delivery experience a plus).
Experience in warehouse, shipping, logistics, or field service helpful.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stay organized, multitask, and manage route schedules.
Strong computer and documentation skills.
High attention to detail and safety awareness.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Motivated, dependable, and team‑oriented.
Physical Requirements
Frequent driving, entering/exiting vehicle, walking, and climbing stairs.
Standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, and grasping.
Ability to lift, transport, and set up equipment weighing up to 150 pounds with proper technique.
Regular travel to hospitals, clinics, and residential properties.
Work Environment
Primarily working in a company vehicle and in patient homes and healthcare facilities.
Additional time in warehouse or stockroom as needed.
