This role is critical in driving the success of our private label portfolio spanning 100-150 SKUs across all product categories. The ideal candidate will independently manage demand forecasting, inventory planning, and provide analytical insights to support both the Private Label BU and Marketing Department in strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Demand Planning and Forecasting (40% of the workload):
  • a. Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for 150-200 private label SKUs across all categories (current and future products)
  • b. Create rolling 12-months demand plans using statistical forecasting methods and market intelligence
  • c. Analyze historical sales data, seasonality trends, market trends, and promotional impacts to improve forecast accuracy
  • d. Monitor forecast accuracy KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • e. Manage transition from current legacy system to MS Dynamics for planning processes
  • 2. Managing new products launches (15% of the workload):
  • a. Determine launch volume forecasts for new private label products
  • b. Collaborate with Marketing to understand launch strategies and promotional plans
  • c. Monitor post-launch performance and adjust forecasts accordingly
  • d. Provide recommendations for phase-out of underperforming SKUs
  • e. Track suppliers performance and related demand/ consumption figures
  • 3. Stock management (15% of the workload):
  • a. Determine optimal inventory levels balancing service levels with working capital requirements and handling both local and imported products
  • b. Monitor stock levels and identify potential stockouts or excess inventory situations
  • c. Coordinate with procurement team member to ensure timely product availability
  • d. Track and report on inventory KPIs including days of inventory, stock turns, and waste
  • 4. Business Analytics and Reporting (20% of the workload):
  • a. Support Marketing Department with data-driven insights for campaign planning and any analytical requirements
  • b. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for real-time business performance monitoring
  • c. Provide weekly/monthly reports on sales performance, forecast accuracy, and inventory metrics
  • d. Conduct deep-dive analysis on category and SKU performance as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Studies, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in FMCG industry
  • Proven experience managing multiple SKUs across diverse product categories
  • Experience with system migrations or implementations is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data modeling
  • Power BI expertise for dashboard creation and data visualization
  • Experience with ERP systems; MS Dynamics knowledge is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of statistical forecasting methods
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills to present complex data insights clearly
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities
