1. Purpose of the role:
The manager will be required to lead a team of demand planning analysts responsible for Statistical forecasting and post game analysis of the forecasts. The manager will also be required to lead tech and non-tech initiatives to improve the processes and the aligned KPIs. The manager will need to effectively collaborate with market counterparts from Supply planning and Commercial teams.
2. Key tasks & accountabilities:
Operations:

Will be responsible to manage statistical baseline forecast & achieve best forecast accuracy for allocated Zone(s)

Analyze and understand thoroughly trend/Pattern/ Seasonality and product life cycle to select best statistical models.

Participate, Present and Contribute to market level S&OP process from demand planning perspective.

Contribute and add value to the business through continuous improvement and process transformation.

Ability to understand and evaluate impact on current ways of operation due to modifications in process basics, technology enhancements, business changes etc.
People Management

Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.

Oversee performance management, career development, and upskilling initiatives within the team.

Set clear objectives, provide constructive feedback, and guide team members towards excellence.
Process Improvement & Innovation

Continuously monitor process performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations for better efficiency and scalability.

Propose transformation opportunities within the process.
3. Qualifications, Experience, Skills:
Level of educational attainment required:
-
Post-Graduate in Supply Chain with strong fundamentals in Data Analysis, Forecast and Sales & Operations planning.
Previous work experience Preference:
-
Strong Understanding and 7-10 years of experience in Demand Planning/Demand Forecasting for seasonal and non-seasonal products and should be able to manage base forecast independently, familiar with statistical Modelling.

Knowledge of O9, Kinaxis or other similar tools for demand planning

Prior experience in FMCG, Retail Insights & analytics, or consulting companies is preferred

Managed a team of 4-10 members.

Experience in liaising with stakeholder
Technical skills required:

Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint (Must Have)

Statistical knowledge for deep diving data (Must Have)

Advanced Visual management: Power BI (Good to Have)
