Demand Planning Specialist

We are looking for a teammate with the following qualifications to be appointed as a "Demand Planning Specialist" in the forest products sector in Turkey and in the world, located in Düzce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering fields,
• Minimum 2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related analytical roles,
• Experienced in advanced Excel and data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.),
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting methods, and inventory optimization,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and reporting skills,
• Team-oriented with excellent communication and coordination abilities,
• Detail-oriented and systematic approach to planning processes,
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (preferably SAP) is an asset.

Job Description

• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, marketing, and production teams to create and update demand forecasts,
• Analyze customer order trends, seasonal variations, and campaign impacts to prepare accurate demand projections,
• Compare actual sales with forecasts and perform variance analyses (forecast accuracy, bias, etc.),
• Integrate demand forecasts into supply planning processes and optimize inventory levels,
• Manage demand planning data within SAP or related ERP systems,
• Provide regular demand analysis reports and KPI dashboards to senior management,
• Support new product launches and production planning processes with data-driven demand insights,
• Take an active role in process improvement and digital transformation projects.
• Manage stock allocation in line with incoming customer orders,
• Provide order delivery dates in accordance with production capacity.
