Summary

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Work under the direction of the Chef de Partie and Head Chef to ensure smooth service and kitchen operations.
  • Take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, helping to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Follow all recipes, procedures, and presentation standards to ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
  • Ensure that all food is stored and handled in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Contribute to menu planning and food preparation for special events or promotions.
  • Manage inventory and ensure proper stock levels for your section.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a luxury hotel or professional kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Passionate about cooking and eager to learn and develop new skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
