- Any other duties as directed by the management
- Ensuring all food hygiene and health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to and implements any legislation as required by UAE Law.
- Knowledge of all food standard procedures, quality presentation, service and products.
- A good understanding and knowledge of the kitchen.
- Knowledge of food trends and special seasonal food.
- Ability to assess quality control and adhere to service standards.
- Knowledge of the local food laws.
- To ensure that the mise-en place is correct to enhance the service times.
- To conserve energy and water.
- To minimize operating cost y using all equipment and products in accordance with set guidelines and ensure all equipment is turned off at the end of the shift.
- To acknowledge returning and regular clients.
- To assist the Sous Chef when required.
