JOB SUMMARY:
The Demi Chef de Partie supports the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and consistency as per company standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in food preparation and service
- Prepare assigned dishes according to recipes and standards
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Follow food safety and HACCP guidelines
- Maintain proper storage and labeling of food items
- Support in mise en place and daily kitchen operations
- Minimize food wastage and control portioning
- Assist in training Commis Chefs when required
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience as DCDP or Commi I in a professional kitchen
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good coordination skills
- Basic English communication skills
- Culinary certification is an advantage
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for long working hours
