JOB SUMMARY:
The Demi Chef de Partie supports the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and consistency as per company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in food preparation and service
  • Prepare assigned dishes according to recipes and standards
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
  • Follow food safety and HACCP guidelines
  • Maintain proper storage and labeling of food items
  • Support in mise en place and daily kitchen operations
  • Minimize food wastage and control portioning
  • Assist in training Commis Chefs when required
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as DCDP or Commi I in a professional kitchen
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with good coordination skills
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Culinary certification is an advantage

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long working hours
