Demolition Worker / Construction worker

Deon Builders is seeking an experienced and reliable Demolition & Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves hands-on demolition work, site preparation, and supporting general construction activities on commercial interior renovation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform demolition work safely and efficiently
• Read and understand architectural drawings
• Prepare job sites with proper dust control and safety measures
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols
• Operate hand and power tools
• Perform core drilling as needed
• Use demo saws (walk-behind and handheld) to cut concrete
• Remove and handle concrete and debris, including heavy lifting
• Operate skid steer for material handling and excavation
• Assist with other construction tasks as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of demolition/construction experience
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
• Experience with core drilling and concrete cutting
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
• Experience operating skid steer equipment
• Valid OSHA certification (required)
• Driver’s license and own hand tools preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliability
