Dental Assistant

**Job Summary:**

For Full time position (30-32 hrs, Mon-Thu): We seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team of 2 Prosthodontists (Specialists in Cosmetics and Implants). You will work in a LOW stress environment with a low volume boutique style specialty practice. You always be supported by a 2nd experienced lead dental assistant. Knowledge of surgical assisting is a huge plus+ Ability to help with Front Desk duties is another huge +. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

**Duties:**

- Support the dental team in providing excellent patient care, including preparing for appointments, taking vital signs, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment area.

- Assist the dentist with procedures,

- Maintain infection control standards and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.

- Perform X-rays, as needed, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.

- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns from patients and their families.

- Work effectively with other dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

- Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with dental receptionist tasks and participating in team meetings and training sessions.

**Skills:**

- Certification and Expertise in infection control and X-Rays.

- Experience with dental and oral surgeries and willing to perform at a higher quality

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and front desk responsibilities.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in dental assisting or a related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
